We live in a time of rapid change, exceptionally strong threats and crucial choices. Climate change and the loss of biodiversity threaten the future of all humanity. The risk of war, even nuclear war, has increased. Finland and the world are prosperous and rich, but at the same time there is poverty, unemployment and inequality.

Communist Party of Finland expresses its full support for the people of Cuba, who are struggling amidst power outages and damage of the Hurricane Oscar. The challenges Cuba faces, such as the collapse of the power grid, food shortages, and the scarcity of medicine and fuel, are the result of the unjust trade embargo maintained by the United States.
One of the key initiatives of Communist Party of Finland is better working hours, specifically the general transition to a 6-hour working day and a 30-hour working week without reducing wages.
