Festival of social change, activism, and cooperation, Tiedonantaja Press Festival, will take place at the Peace Station (Rauhanasema) in Pasila, Helsinki, on Saturday and Sunday, October 11–12! On Saturday, October 11, in addition to the Peace Station, events will also be held in the auditorium of the Pasila Library!

Program and info published here! There you can read directions and accessibility information too.

Most of the program will be in Finnish but there is a possibility to comment and ask questions in English. We'll update program if some debate will be also in English.

So mark your calendar for that weekend – the festival is an open invitation for everyone to come together in action, engage in diverse democratic discussion, and explore sustainable ways out of the crises facing our society and the world.

Tiedonantaja Press Festival is a two-day event that brings together people working in critical journalism, political thought, and social change. It is an open platform for discussion, networking, new ideas, and civic engagement. The festival aims to promote independent thinking, amplify silenced voices, and provide space for envisioning new ways of taking action.

The program takes on big questions, current crises, and pressing injustices – seeking solutions, collective power, and a democratic strategy! The weekend also features culture and art exhibitions.

The main organizers of the festival are Tiedonantaja newspaper, Communist Party of Finland (SKP), the Party of the European Left, Democratic Civic Association (DSL), Communist Youth of Finland and Spartacus Foundation.
