Hallitus aikoo kasvattaa sotilasmenoja yhteensä reilulla 2,6 miljardilla, josta 1,6 miljardia menee aseostoihin. F-35 -hävittäjien ostoon kuluu noin miljardi. Samaan aikaan pelkästään vanhustenhoidosta puuttuu lähes 2 miljardia euroa ja rahaa tarvittaisiin kipeästi muuallakin.

The speech by Jiri Mäntysalo, Vice Chairperson of the Communist Party of Finland, at the 15th World Socialism Forum in Beijing, China on November 3rd, addressed militarism, the erosion of international law, the importance of youth participation in a system change, the environmental crisis, as well as just artificial intelligence and its potential to liberate the working class.
The World Socialism Forum, held for the 15th time in China, will convene on November 3–4 to discuss international politics, new dimensions of socialism, and changes at the crossroads of world history. Jiri Mäntysalo, Vice Chairperson of Communist Party of Finland (SKP), will travel to Beijing to attend the forum and participate in academic seminars in other Chinese provinces.
The Communist Party of Finland condemns attempts to narrow democracy. The persecution of communists is an attack on the entire labour movement and on the fundamental rights of citizens. SKP stands in solidarity with the Communist Party of Poland.
