Keskustelua yksilön oikeuksista, rauhasta ja toivosta Kuubassa, taloutta kurjistavan USA:n kauppasaarron varjossa, torstaina 27.6. klo 17-19.
Kuubassa on astunut voimaan edistyksellinen perhelaki, joka laillisti samaa sukupuolta olevien avioliitot ja myönsi adoptio-oikeuden samaa sukupuolta oleville avio- tai avopareille. Samalla esimerkiksi voittoa tavoittelematon sijaissynnytys laillistettiin. Millainen oli lain demokraattinen prosessi? Tapetilla myös Kuuban tilanne laittoman ja julman kauppasaarron paineessa, sosialismin periaatteet ja onnistumiset sekä kuubalainen solidaarisuustoiminta kansainvälisesti.
Tapahtuma järjestetään livenä (Viljatie 4 B 3. kerros, 00700 Helsinki) ja etänä Zoomissa.
Ennakkoilmoittautumista livetilaisuuteen ei tarvitse. Toimiston kokoushuoneeseen mahtuu noin 20 ihmistä, mutta teemme tarvittaessa erillisjärjestelyjä. Esteettömyystiedot löydät täältä!

A debate about individual rights, peace and hope in Cuba, under the shadow of the US embargo that is crippling the economy, on Thursday 27th June at 17-19 o'clock.
In Cuba, the progressive family law has entered into force, which legalized same-sex marriages and granted the right to adopt to same-sex couples, married or cohabiting. At the same time, for example, non-profit surrogacy was legalized. What was the democratic process of the law like? We are also debating the situation in Cuba under the pressure of the illegal and cruel embargo, the principles and successes of socialism, and Cuban solidarity activities internationally.
The event will be held live (Viljatie 4 B 3. floor, 00700 Helsinki) and remotely via Zoom.
