The Congress of the Communist Party of Finland took place on 8th and 9th of June near Helsinki, in the city of Vantaa. Over 200 participants discussed and made decisions for the next three-year period. Many international guests took part the congress from the South African Communist Party, European Left, Communist Party of Russian Federation, Communist Party of Cuba and other countries.

In the action programme the CPF stands against the austerity policy of the Finnish government, against the EU treaties and against the Nato. The Congress made an initiative of forming a front of radical left and red-green forces for the next parliamentary election 2015.
